Terms of Service

Welcome to Rectangle Circle ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our websites, products, and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country — to create an account or use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Our Services

Rectangle Circle develops and operates AI-powered creative tools, cameras, and games across the web, iOS, and macOS. These Terms apply to all of our products, including any released after the date above — examples include Moodyboards.ai, DayTape, Text Invaders, Tattoo AI, Y2K Cam, Vault AI, Petal Drift, and Pose AI.

Each product may have additional terms that apply to your use of that specific service.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of our products, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Payments, Billing, and Cancellation

Some of our services require payment. By purchasing a subscription or service:

• You agree to pay all applicable fees and authorize us to charge your payment method
• Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel
• You may cancel at any time and will keep access through the end of your current billing period
• Fees already billed and credits already used are non-refundable, except where required by law (for example, statutory withdrawal rights for digital purchases in the EU/UK)

Purchases made inside an app

Subscriptions and other purchases made inside our iOS and macOS apps are billed by Apple through your Apple Account, not by us. For those purchases:

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within 24 hours before that period ends.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple's refund policy. We can't issue or reverse an Apple charge.
• The price and length of a subscription are shown in the app before you confirm.

Payment for purchases made on our websites is processed through our payment partners; we do not store your card details.

Free, ad-supported apps

Some apps are free and supported by advertising. Where a paid subscription is offered in one of those apps, subscribing removes the advertising. Some features may require a subscription; what is included is described in the app at the point of purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

Our services and their original content, features, and functionality are owned by Rectangle Circle and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. User Content and Uploads

You retain ownership of content you upload or create using our services. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you own it or have all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to use it. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and use your content solely as necessary to provide the service (for example, generating images conditioned on your moodboard). You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights of others, and we may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

8. AI-Generated Content

Images and other outputs you generate using our AI tools are yours to use, including for commercial purposes, with no attribution required. Because AI output is probabilistic, it may contain errors, and we do not guarantee that any output is unique, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or publishing them.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any illegal purpose
• Upload content you do not own or have the rights to use
• Upload or generate content that is infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit, or that sexually exploits minors
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, scrape, reverse-engineer, or bypass usage limits or payment
• Interfere with or disrupt our services
• Violate the rights of others

10. Reporting and Takedown

If you believe content on our services is infringing or violates these Terms, please report it using the contact form in the relevant app or by emailing us (see "Contact Us" below) with details and the location of the content. We review and act on valid reports promptly.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rectangle Circle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
